Data Encryption Standards
We enforce rigorous encryption standards across all layers of the Storofy ecosystem:
- In-Transit Encryption: All communications between buyers, your store, and Storofy APIs use modern TLS 1.3 protocol with SHA-256 cryptographic signatures.
- Free Automated SSL: Every custom domain connected to Storofy is automatically issued a dedicated SSL/TLS certificate at zero extra cost.
- At-Rest Encryption: All database volumes, backups, and media asset storage buckets are encrypted using industry-standard AES-256 encryption.
Payment Gateway Security & PCI Compliance
Storofy partners directly with certified PCI-DSS Level 1 Service Providers (including Stripe and PayPal):
- Payment card details are entered via secure, sandboxed iframes directly to the payment processor.
- Plain-text credit card numbers or security CVV codes are never transmitted through or stored on Storofy servers.
- Merchants can accept credit cards, debit cards, Apple Pay, Google Pay, and Cash on Delivery with full regulatory compliance.
